The Position

As a Patient Journey Partner (PJP) representing Roche Malaysia, you will be embedded directly in the local healthcare ecosystem, acting as the primary catalyst for improving patient outcomes while driving sustainable business growth. Operating within an agile cross-functional team, you will bridge commercial excellence, scientific engagement, and ecosystem strategy to eliminate barriers across the patient journey.

In this high-impact role, you will:

• Drive Business Performance: Develop and execute strategic territory business plans leveraging customer, market, and patient journey data insights to achieve target outcomes across assigned therapeutic areas.

• Cultivate Ecosystem Partnerships: Build trusted, long-term relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, pharmacists, and patient advocacy groups across public and private sectors.

• Optimize Patient Lifecycles: Identify and remove pain points along the patient journey, translating healthcare insights into actionable lifecycle and market access strategies.

• Orchestrate Cross-Functional Support: Lead and collaborate with internal partners across Medical Affairs, Access, and Customer Experience teams to deliver cohesive, end-to-end solutions.

• Activate Educational Initiatives: Design and execute customer engagement events, scientific programs, and digital activation activities to drive adoption of healthcare innovations.

• Champion Sustainable Operations: Manage allocated operational budgets responsibly while embedding agile methodologies and digital tools into daily customer engagement.

Who You Are

You are an entrepreneurial system-thinker and active listener with a growth mindset. You thrive on autonomy, navigate complex environments with resilience, and are passionate about creating measurable impact for patients and healthcare communities.

Your Qualifications:

• Educational Background: You hold a University Degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Business, Economics, or a related field. An advanced degree (e.g., Master's, MBA) is an advantage.

• Relevant Experience: You bring at least 3 to 5 years of experience engaging healthcare professionals in roles such as Key Account Manager, Product/Brand Manager, Medical Science Liaison, or Customer Experience Lead.

• Healthcare Market Insight: You possess a strong understanding of healthcare account management, commercial strategies, and patient journey optimization in Malaysia.

• Collaborative Leadership: You bring a proven ability to lead and orchestrate cross-functional teams without formal authority, driving alignment toward shared goals.

• Language & Digital Savvy: You are fluent in the local language and have strong professional English skills for cross-regional collaboration. You are comfortable utilizing digital engagement tools and agile ways of working.
