À propos de ce poste Part-Time HR Specialist (Fixed-Term Contract) chez The Brattle Group
The Brattle Group, a privately held, global economic consulting firm, is looking for an organized, proactive and relationship-oriented Part-Time Human Resources Specialist (FTC) to work in our London, UK office.
This role will support three Human Resources Business Partners (HRBP) on our Employee Experience team working across four Management Groups and employee populations in Europe, North America and Australia.
Working closely with the HRBPs, the HR Specialist will help with day-to-day employee queries, coordinate talent and performance activities, prepare people data and reports, and support Employee Experience initiatives. The role offers an opportunity to learn about the Management Groups and their people priorities while building relationships with employees, managers and colleagues across HR.
This is a broad HR role that offers significant exposure to the work of an HRBP. The HR Specialist will take ownership of defined processes and projects, provide guidance on routine employee and manager matters, and support more complex work alongside experienced HRBPs. It is an excellent development opportunity for someone with a few years of HR experience who wants to broaden their knowledge, strengthen their judgment and advisory skills, and continue progressing toward an HRBP role.
Some of the day-to-day responsibilities of this role include:
- Support three HRBPs across four Management Groups, developing an understanding of their employee populations, business priorities and people needs.
- Serve as an initial point of contact for routine HR questions, providing guidance on established policies and processes and escalating more complex or sensitive matters as appropriate.
- Support employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, transfers, promotions, leave and departures.
- Track development priorities and commitments arising from talent and performance discussions and partner with HRBPs on appropriate follow-up.
- Own or support defined Employee Experience projects, coordinating timelines, communications, stakeholders and deliverables through completion.
- Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize and automate recurring HR processes.
THE CANDIDATE
- Approximately 2 - 3 years of experience in HR, ideally in an international, professional services or similarly fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree
- CIPD Level 3 or progress towards a relevant CIPD qualification is desirable but not essential
- Strong understanding of core HR processes and the employee lifecycle
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail, particularly when working with employee data and confidential information.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. Working knowledge of Spanish or French is desirable.
- Comfortable working with HR systems, Excel and Microsoft Office; an interest in using technology and AI to improve HR processes would be an advantage.
- Able to exercise good judgment about when to handle an issue independently and when to escalate.
- Comfortable working with colleagues across different countries, seniority levels and time zones.
- High level of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive employee information.
Brattle offers a competitive benefits package, base salary, and bonus program for eligible roles based on individual and firm performance.
This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.
