THE ROLE
The Part-Time Facility Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and company assets. This position monitors facility access, conducts security inspections, responds to incidents, and supports overall physical security operations during assigned shifts.
ESSENTIAL DUTES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conducts patrols for the building on a regular basis
- Respond to all safety and security calls in a professional and timely manner
- Monitor surveillance cameras and fire alarm systems
- Using excellent customer service skills to interact with Arena Patrons, Vendors and Employees in a courteous and professional manner
- Complete all assigned tasks within the guidelines and deadlines set by Security Managers and Supervisors
- Comply with all legal and ethical instructions given by the Security Managers and Supervisors
- Comply with and adhere to the Department’s performance, conduct and attendance standards
- Documenting detailed and accurate incident and shift reports
- Exhibit exemplary conduct and appearance while on duty
- Investigate incidents and compile information for official reports
- Other duties as deemed necessary or as directed
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with all Legends & ASM policies and applicable laws.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- A minimum education level of Highschool Diploma or its equivalency
- Minimum of 1-2 years’ work experience
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Basic computer knowledge i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Ability to represent the Security Department in an exemplary manner
- Ability to perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature without the loss of efficiency or composure
- Ability to maintain guests, team members and company confidentiality
- Ability to effectively perform in crisis and work under pressure without the loss of composure
- Ability to memorize, recollect and quickly retrieve relevant information
- Ability to interact effectively and calmy with angry or emotional patrons during intensely aggravated circumstances
- Must be available to work nights, weekends and possible holidays

Shift: 3rd Shift/Overnights
