What We Need:
We are looking for a strong news writer/editor with sharp journalism skills. The ideal candidate is a seasoned news pro with an eye for detail, a great attitude, and a willingness to "do what it takes" to get the job done.This is an in-house Phoenix position and cannot be done from another location. Please be willing and ready to commit to shift work before applying - nights/weekends/holidays. This is most likely an overnight position to start.
What You'll Do:
Proof reading/writing/editing news copy.
Posting content to various platforms.
Audio editing.
Assignment planning.
General newsroom responsibilities
What You'll Need:
Ability and willingness to work overnights
5+ years of newsroom experience.
Highly efficient writing skills.
Copy editing background.
Ability to work from our downtown Phoenix newsroom.
Digital audio skills.
