This role will be located at one of Discovery Land Company’s locations: Homewood Mountain & Lake Club, set on the West Shore of Lake Tahoe in Homewood, California.

Homewood is seeking an Outdoor Pursuits Guide to join the Outdoor Pursuits Department.

The Outdoor Pursuits Guide leads members and guests through Homewood's on-mountain and backcountry programming, creating extraordinary experiences while keeping safety and fun in equal measure. Guides deliver both instructional and adventure-based programming across skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, hiking, and cat and UTV tours, with backcountry-qualified Guides also leading off-piste and backcountry trips through avalanche terrain.

This role requires a proactive, safety-minded individual who takes pride in instruction, guest connection, and sound judgment in the field. Guides assess conditions and risk in real time, adapting activities to keep every member and guest safe, engaged, and having a great day.

Reporting to the Outdoor Pursuits Director/Supervisor and working closely with the Outdoor Pursuits Coordinator, the Outdoor Pursuits Guide helps bring Homewood's four-season adventure programming to life, one trip, one lesson, and one great story at a time.
