What You Can Expect

The Capacity Planning Manager, OSAT owns end-to-end capacity planning across Marvell's global OSAT subcontractor network, spanning front-end backend processes (KGD, Bump, Wafer Sort, WLCSP, Advanced Packaging) through assembly and test (FCBGA, FC-CSP, wire bond, final test, burn-in, post-test). Coverage across these process areas is assigned flexibly based on business need, workload, and subcontractor footprint, rather than fixed by a single domain. This role is responsible for ensuring that Kinaxis-based capacity models are accurate and fully executable, and for connecting planning outputs to day-to-day operations execution so that customer orders are fulfilled on time, at minimal cost, with the fastest cycle time and optimal inventory levels.

• Develop and maintain near-term (0–6 month) and long-range (1–3 year) capacity plans across assigned OSAT process areas — which may span KGD, Bump, Wafer Sort, WLCSP, Advanced Packaging, FCBGA, FC-CSP, wire bond, final test, burn-in, and post-test — aligned with business growth plans and reprioritized as business needs evolve.
• Act as the process owner for Kinaxis capacity models within assigned scope — validating that model logic, constraints, and data structures accurately reflect subcontractor capability and are executable for constrained planning and scenario simulation.
• Translate Kinaxis planning outputs into actionable execution plans, connecting the dots between planning and operations by working closely with engineering, operations, and subcontractor teams.
• Lead constraint-based planning and proactive bottleneck management across the assigned process scope, identifying capacity risks early and driving resolution with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Own supplier capacity governance for assigned OSAT subcontractors, including Capex investment tracking, capacity expansion timelines, and long-term infrastructure planning.
• Run scenario planning for demand surges, customer prioritization, NPI acceleration, and supply disruptions, and recommend trade-offs to management.
• Build and maintain executive dashboards covering utilization, constraints, opportunities, risks, and capacity commitments.
• Take a leadership role in coordinating issues relating to production that impact customer order fulfillment and provide regular status reporting to management.
• Flex across process areas and subcontractors as business priorities shift, providing coverage and backup across the broader capacity planning team as needed.
• Partner with global engineering, test development, quality, IT, and other disciplines, and participate in cross-functional projects to improve planning processes and Kinaxis system capability.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics, Industrial), Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration or related fields
• 7+ years experience in semiconductor backend operations, OSAT management, or supplier operations
• Direct experience working with OSAT subcontractors (assembly, wafer sort, final test) rather than just generic manufacturing planning
• Prior exposure to S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) or demand-supply balancing processes
