SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
PROCESS IMPROVEMENT AND STANDARDIZATION:
Provides input to further improve the following: well services operations, tool calibration and maintenance, operational safety procedures, warehousing organization, and document management relating to well services operations.
Participates in the development of quality standards relevant to Integrated Well Services (IWS), including but not limited to operating procedures, equipment performance and design, project/program approval criteria, etc.
COMPETENCY DEVELOPMENT:
Ensures personal competence and authorization are continuously maintained and promotes continuous learning among personnel, ensuring they are competent and knowledgeable about safety procedures.
TASK IMPLEMENTATION (Well Services Activities):
Performs the required testing/logging of assigned wells in accordance to the team's quality standards, approved work schedule, and applicable regulatory requirements. These include but are not limited to activities such as Casing Inspection Caliper (CIC) run, Down Hole Video (DHV) run, XY Caliper run, Pressure, Temperature, and Spinner (PTS) run, Well Stimulation by Air Compression, Well quenching, Well Head Replacement (WHR), discharge testing, etc.
Operates, drives, calibrate, and maintains all IWS equipment such as but not limited to survey truck, quenching unit, air compressor package, calibrating bath, downhole tools, welding machine, generators, survey gears, discharge gears, data loggers and transmitters, pressure gauges, etc.
Responsible for ensuring that all tools and equipment are fit for purpose prior to any operation. Maintains, prepares and calibrates tools and equipment as per quality standards.
Facilitates third party testing and calibration of tools and equipment whenever necessary.
Leads and coordinates all site inspections, preparations and set-up to ensure readiness in operations.
Organizes all operational requirements, checklists, and travel routes (Journey Management Program - JMP) during mobilization of logging trucks, and other major well services equipment across all EDC sites.
Provides input in the planning, organizing and monitoring of assigned Well Services activities.
Evaluates tools and equipment issues and recommends mitigations and solutions to avoid such issues from occurring.
Assists the Well Services Engineer in the preparation of all required tools and equipment for the implementation of all well services activities
Regularly updates immediate superior on status of activities in his assigned area of responsibility.
Reviews well test/wireline data results, and analyzes for anomalies, prior submission to Well Services Engineer.
Provides manpower support and technical assistance to other groups, including but not limited to Resource Management, Drilling, FT&S, etc.
Evaluates 3rd party service providers, as needed, in accordance to corporate policies on engagement of external services.
DOCUMENTATION / DATA MANAGEMENT:
Collects and records data as instructed by Well Services Engineer, Lead or Site Head
Provides data and other required information relevant to the group's various reports.
Maintaining accurate records of all Safety Documents in accordance with the Company's Document and Record Management Procedure.
RESOURCE, LOGISTICS AND FACILITIES:
Prepares necessary documentation in mobilization and transferring of wireline and well testing equipment such as Journey Management Plan (JMP) and Setting to Work (STW).
Manages and organizes inventory of well testing, wireline and well intervention equipment, tools, spare parts, and related supplies, based on the assignment given by the immediate superior. Ensures availability of spare parts, materials, and supplies for the well services operations.
Plans and manages the utilization of resources related to assigned activities.
Prepares requests through Central Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and Kiss Flow (KF) for well services operation requirements and keeps record of such activities.
Receives, checks deliveries of tools, spare parts, materials, and supplies. Label such items as applicable
Evaluates and recommends technical specifications of purchased tools and equipment.
EMPLOYEES TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT:
Participates in the learning program/other intervention initiatives as identified in the individual development plan based from feedback and competency-gaps to continually upgrade/increase competency proficiency level as required by the job.
Makes accomplishment reports through the established performance management system and attends discussion with the immediate head for the assessment of individual goals, identification of areas for improvement and career growth.
REGULATORY COMPLIANCE:
Ensures all activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
SAFETY MANAGEMENT:
Ensure Safety of IWS and other section/department personnel, equipment and other stakeholders including contractors and community, and protect the environment in compliance to company safety, health and environmental policy.
Ensures all safety protocols are strictly followed to protect personnel from general danger or hazard.
Issues stop work order for any hazardous work action and /or condition identified in the assigned work area, scope of work is changed, permit expires, or when a near-miss, or accident occurs.
Secures PTW/STW including all associated clearance as needed. Prepares all necessary documents including JMP, JHA, job risk assessment, etc.
Acts as the Nominated Supervisor (NS) under the EBSI Permitting system:
Protects the interest of the company by assuring that a safe workplace is provided to all workers. Identifies and controls all hazards and risks. Be well-versed, complies and enforces the EDC Safety Rules as well as the General Safety Guidelines of EDC.
Planning and Collaboration: Establishes general safety. Collaborates with stakeholders to ensure all safety requirements are met prior to commencement of work.
Setting to work: Ensures Competent Persons (CP) are Authorized for the job / work. Verifies that the hazard controls are in place prior to work authorization. Ensures CP’s understanding of the established General Safety and verifies that the same is cascaded to the working party.
Execution and Safety Compliance: Oversees the work activities of the Competent Persons, ensuring all activities are conducted safely. Ensures that established safe methods of work remain effective and new hazards are managed.
