This position will serve as an embedded staff member supporting the FDOT Tallahassee Operations Center. The Receptionist will provide front-desk support by greeting and directing visitors, managing incoming and outgoing calls, and assisting with general administrative and office support activities to help ensure the efficient day-to-day operation of the Operations Center.

What You’ll Do:

• Operates a switchboard or telephone console to route incoming calls and place outgoing local and long distance calls.
• Receives incoming phone calls, secures necessary information and transfers to appropriate party.
• Takes and relays messages as necessary. Provides information to callers as appropriate.
• Performs incidental typing and/or routine clerical work as assigned. May schedule the use of conference rooms and other firm resources.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need:

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent

What We Prefer:

• 1-2 years of receptionist experience
• Good communication and organization skills
