Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily MRRT reviews and prioritize quality notifications (QNs), DMRs, and manufacturing excursions.
- Review and validate defect information, failure descriptions, supplier information, and supporting evidence.
- Drive timely containment actions to prevent additional escapes into production.
- Facilitate ownership assignment for supplier, manufacturing, logistics, NPI, and engineering-related quality issues.
- Track corrective actions through closure and ensure accountability across functional organizations.
- Monitor DMR aging, backlog, and cycle-time reduction metrics.
Functional Knowledge
- Strong understanding of nonconforming material processes, MRB, MRRT, DMR, QN, SCAR, and 8D methodologies.
- Knowledge of manufacturing quality systems, supplier quality management, and corrective action processes.
- Understanding of SAP quality notification and material control processes.
Business Expertise
- Understands manufacturing flow, production constraints, line-down impacts, and operational risk.
- Balances quality requirements with factory throughput, customer commitments, and business objectives.
Leadership
- Provides technical leadership across cross-functional teams.
- Drives accountability for issue resolution and corrective action closure.
- Leads MRRT and quality review forums involving multiple organizations.
Problem Solving
- Leads investigations involving recurring quality failures, supplier escapes, manufacturing defects, and operational disruptions.
- Uses data analysis, trend identification, and structured problem-solving methodologies to determine corrective actions.
Impact
- Directly impacts factory quality performance, manufacturing throughput, and customer satisfaction through timely resolution of nonconforming material and recurring quality issues.
- Drives reduction of DMR backlog, aging, and repeat escapes by ensuring effective containment, ownership assignment, and corrective action execution.
- Influences operational decisions regarding material disposition, stock purges, supplier escalations, and production recovery plans.
- Supports risk-based decision making that balances quality requirements, delivery commitments, inventory management, and manufacturing productivity.
- Provides visibility to site leadership through quality metrics, trend analysis, and escalation management.
- Helps prevent line disruptions and customer escapes by proactively identifying quality risks and driving cross-functional resolution.
Interpersonal Skills
- Works effectively across Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Product Engineering, NPI, Supplier Quality, Planning, Procurement, and Factory Quality organizations.
- Facilitates MRRT and MRB meetings involving multiple stakeholders with competing priorities and drives alignment toward resolution.
- Communicates complex technical and quality issues to both technical and non-technical audiences in a clear and actionable manner.
- Influences decisions and drives accountability across functional teams without direct reporting authority.
- Builds collaborative relationships with internal teams, suppliers, and leadership to accelerate issue resolution and corrective actions.
- Provides guidance, coaching, and process expertise to manufacturing personnel, quality technicians, engineers, and new team members.
- Demonstrates strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills when balancing quality, production, and business objectives.

NoThe salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
