Job Summary

The Operations Analytics & Reporting Intern will support the North America Operations data management strategy by helping improve KPI reporting, dashboard quality, performance analysis, and decision-support capabilities across the region.

This role is focused on how operational data is turned into useful insights for leaders. The intern will support Power BI dashboard development, KPI reconciliation, reporting standardization, trend analysis, and monthly performance summaries. The role will help strengthen regional reporting capabilities and support the operating cadence for Monthly Operations Reviews, JOS meetings, QBRs, and other leadership reporting needs.

This is a good fit for a student or early-career candidate with strong analytical skills, BI/reporting experience, business curiosity, and an interest in manufacturing operations.

Education & Experience Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma, undergraduate, or postgraduate program in Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or another relevant field. Prior academic, project, or internship exposure is an advantage but not mandatory.

Responsibilities Support daily activities and assigned tasks under supervision. Assist with documentation, coordination, data handling, and routine activities as required. Participate in learning standard processes, safety practices, and quality requirements. Contribute to project-related work and continuous improvement initiatives while following established policies and timelines.

Required Skills

• Strong interest in analytics, reporting, operations, or business performance management.
• Experience working with data visualization or reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Excel dashboards, or similar platforms.
• Foundational understanding of data analysis, KPI tracking, and performance reporting.
• Strong Excel skills and comfort analyzing structured datasets.
• Ability to interpret data and communicate insights clearly.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to validate results before presenting findings.
• Ability to work with both technical and business stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Power BI, including visuals, filters, relationships, measures, or Power Query.
• Basic SQL skills for querying and validating reporting datasets.
• Familiarity with KPI reporting, scorecards, dashboards, or business performance reviews.
• Exposure to manufacturing, operations, supply chain, finance, or industrial engineering.
• Interest in reporting automation, analytics process improvement, or future GenAI-enabled reporting capabilities.
• Ability to create clear executive-level summaries from detailed data.
