Examples of Basic Tasks and Duties

Plans, assigns, reviews, and coordinates the work of staff engaged in clerical and other functions
Prepares work orders and maintenance authorization requests.
Verifies, records, and files claims, reports, records, and other documents.
Helps to prepare budget requests.
Answers correspondence concerning operation of the department.
Prepares and keeps a current inventory of office or other equipment.
Purchases supplies for office; keep a current account of expenditures.
Confers with and assists administrative superiors involving problems affecting office operations.
Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university
or
A high school diploma and any combination of related education and work experience equaling four years.
