Under the direction of the Manager, will perform a wide variety of duties to provide clerical and administrative support. Activities include, but are not limited to: phones, billing, appointment scheduling, patient registration, office supply inventory, transcription, filing, insurance verification and other duties as assigned. Interacts with co-workers and members of other departments. Assists in unit operational support tasks; assists with Human Resources management; works cooperatively with others as part of a team and recognizes the importance of group goals. Responds to requests within authorized scope of knowledge and skills.Position Details:

Shift:
10 hours a day /4 days a week. 6:30 am- 5 pm, no weekends!
Eligible for Shift Differentials!
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required with coursework in clerical skills.
Experience: A minimum of two years' experience in a medical office setting. *This position is responsible for coordination of information, communication, and other clerical functions for the Audiology Department. The Office Coordinator will be providing sole front desk scheduling, registration, and inventory workflow coordination functions that directly support a team of 4 audiologists and their patients. This position also works indirectly with the entire Audiology East Communities team. Preferred candidates are highly motivated, organized, efficient, and exhibit consistency and high levels of accuracy.
Other: Typing proficiency required. Medical terminology required.
Preferred Experience: Five years of experience in a medical office setting.
