Your role:

The Office Administrator role provides administrative and customer service support for the daily operations of the Respiratory Health business. The administrative assistant role provides front desk coverage and the management of a multiline phone system to ensure excellent customer experience for our customers and patients. The role also provides additional administrative support across various teams and departments.

What you'll be doing:

• Welcome and greet guests/vendors in a warm, professional manner upon arrival and provide direction to the appropriate person or place within the building

• Collaborate with the building operations team to monitor & follow building security protocols, maintain visitor logs and issue visitor badges to guests and vendors entering the building

• Manage a multi-line phone system, answer/screen incoming calls and field inquiries in-person, over the phone or via email.

• Receive, sort, and distribute mail, packages and other courier deliveries including the execution of larger mass mailings based on the needs of other teams and departments.

• Complete mailings for patient/customer related letters, documents and communications

• Manage inventory for office supplies

• Create new hire onboarding materials and bundles

• Assist in the coordination of asset disposition and phone coverage in support of the Acute and Home Care Customer Service teams 

What you'll bring:

• High school diploma or equivalent, associate’s degree, preferred

• 2+ years relevant work experience, required

• 2+ years of healthcare or Durable Medical Equipment experience, preferred

• Experience with Total Information Management System (TIMS) or other Third-party billing system, preferred

• Exceptional customer service and professional demeanor

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software

• Familiarity with office equipment, i.e. computers, copier, phone system.

• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and manage workload

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $51,200.00 to $70,400.00 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.
