What You’ll Do

• Evaluate patients’ functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Help patients improve daily living skills, strength, coordination, and safety.
• Recommend adaptive equipment and home modifications.
• Teach patients and caregivers techniques that support independence between visits.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Complete accurate, timely clinical documentation.
• Supervise occupational therapy assistants as appropriate.

What You’ll Need

• Current Rhode Island Occupational Therapist license.
• At least 1 year of occupational therapy experience.
• Current CPR certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to quality patient care.
• Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and support up to 50 pounds, including positioning or transferring patients and moving equipment
• Must possess a valid driver's license, maintain an acceptable driving record, OR have reliable transportation to travel between patient homes and assigned work locations.
