We are seeking a talented individual to join the Product Development team at Marsh Risk Technology.

This role will be based in Cluj-Napoca and follows a hybrid working model, with a requirement to work in the office at least three days per week.

As a .NET Developer, you will participate in development projects and enhancements for the Affinity platform. You will triage and resolve minor production issues, perform routine maintenance, and collaborate with Engineering and Operations to ensure service reliability, timely incident response, and alignment with Marsh’s IT strategy and Affinity Management activities in France.

This role also requires on-call availability for exceptional implementations and service disruptions.

 

We will count on you to: 

• Be responsible for part of the development and maintenance of the applications in the affinity department
• Acquire functional knowledge of the Affinity Platform information system and work in interaction with the functional team
• Carry out administrative tasks related to the requirements of the Marsh group pertaining to the activities of the development team
• Participate in the writing of the technical and application documentation
• Communicate with the different teams of the IT department, to facilitate the understanding of the processes in place, ideally in French;
• Design, develop, and maintain high -performance and secure web applications and APIs;
• Participate in the technical design and architecture of solutions (MVC, WebForm, Clean Architecture
• Ensure front -end (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and back -end (C#, .NET Framework, and.NET Core) development
• Collaborate with the product, design, and infrastructure teams to ensure the quality and performance of deliverables.
• Manage versioning and collaboration via Git
• Technology watch and proposal for improvements by integrating new technologies (React, .NET Core, etc.).

What you need to have:  

• Minimum of 5 years in .NET development with production support exposure; strong problem -solving and debugging skills
• Knowledge in React or Angular
• Languages & Frameworks: C#, .NET Core, JavaScript,jQuery, SQL
• Version management: Git, Github
• Architecture & methodologies: MVC, WebForm, Clean Architecture
• Web Development: HTML, CSS, Development of RESTful APIs
• Appetite for new technologies: React or other modern front-end frameworks
• Communication and collaboration: excellent verbal and written communication in
• Fluent English and the ability to work with cross -functional teams;
• Education: BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Personal attributes: proactive, autonomous, resilient under pressure, and capable of adapting in a diverse technical environment.
