MSK and Sports Physiotherapist | Full-Time | Sydney
About the role
We’re looking for an experienced Physiotherapist to join a group of clinics in Sydney. The caseload is almost entirely private and mostly MSK and sports, with a small share of WorkCover, CTP, NDIS and chronic care plans. You’ll usually work with one other practitioner, or solo, so you’ll need to be comfortable managing your own caseload.
Your week
- 40 hours full-time, usually 2 long days and 3 short days
- Split across 2 locations, which means variety in patients and in the practitioners you cross paths with
- 95% private patients, with the rest made up of WorkCover, CTP, NDIS and chronic care plans
What you’ll be doing
- Assessing, diagnosing and managing a wide range of MSK and sports presentations
- Building treatment plans around each patient’s work, sport and lifestyle, not just their diagnosis
- Using hands-on treatment alongside exercise-based rehab, with dry needling and shockwave available as part of your toolkit
- Managing your own caseload and appointment book across both clinics
- Working alongside a multidisciplinary group that includes chiropractic, remedial massage and exercise physiology
What we’re looking for
- AHPRA registered Physiotherapist with a minimum of 2 years’ experience post graduation
- Sydney based, with full work rights in Australia
- Solid MSK and sports experience, with dry needling an advantage
- Confident working independently while being a good colleague to those around you
- Strong communication skills and a patient-first approach
What’s on offer
- $90,000 to $95,000 salary, depending on experience
- A structured 2 long and 3 short day roster
- Regular in-services and clinical education sessions
- Social events with the wider team, so you meet your colleagues beyond your own clinics
- A mostly private caseload, with consistent demand in well-established clinics
- Modern, well-equipped clinics
Locations
We’re currently hiring across several sites. You’d typically work across two of the following:
- Neutral Bay: harbour views, cafes and easy bus and ferry connections
- Crows Nest: a lively village feel with plenty of lunch options and a short train or metro ride away
- Artarmon: quieter and well connected, with lots of local parking and a train station on the doorstep
- Gladesville: relaxed and green, with waterfront walks and easy road access
- Pyrmont: close to the CBD with waterfront paths, plenty of food and light rail access
