Job Description/Summary
The mold setter is responsible for positioning and setting up molds for the manufacturing of products or components made of various materials.
Essential Functions
- 1-3 years of experience setting up and operating mold injection equipment.
- Repairs and maintains machines, mold upgrades, remove auxiliary equipment using hand tools and power tools.
- Possess technical and mechanical skills to set and pull molds.
- Completes all paperwork and documentation.
- Must be proficient with calipers and other hand tools.
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Able to follow instructions, excellent written and oral skills communicate with others, and follow safety procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Report to work on time every day and be at the assigned workstation on time.
- Must be able to communicate well with team and upper management.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment to assure delivery requirements.
- Clear communication skills.
- Ability to follow documented procedures and standards.
- Excellent time-management skills with the ability to work independently with little supervision.
- Able to follow instructions and safety procedures (wearing PPE).
