Key responsibilities:

• Receive flour bulk tankers
• Conduct flour truck inspections: cleanliness, seal integrity, transport hygiene
• Verify documentation: Delivery note, invoice, COA, Batch numbers, Weigh bridge documents, Quantity, Flour type
• Handling of non – conformances in-line with QA and supervisor
• Offloading flour into silos
• Take representative flour samples for every delivery
• Run quality checks on flour upon receiving according specifications
• Responsible for quality at source
• Batch flour as per the production plan
• Accurately dose batches on HMI system – zero tolerance for dosing errors
• Maintain flour stock levels
• Ensure all scales and quality checking equipment are calibrated
• Weigh and add additives as per the recipe: Enzyme and Vitamn B2, precise micro-dosing, verify dosage rates, expiry dates, lot numbers of additives.
• Inspect OPRPs
• Update mill stats, flour consumption and silo levels
• Real-time capturing of flour receipts, usage, additives usage, transfers and waste.
• Monitor roller stand and mini sifter
• Manage mill filters
• Conduct daily/ weekly/ month – end stock take for flour and additives
• Manage FIFO for flour and additives
• Responsible for SHEQ and Food Safety compliance at the mill
• Responsible for maintaining 5s and housekeeping standards

Requirements

• Education – National senior certificate (matric)
• Must be able to work shifts, including weekends and overtime when required
• Must be medically/physically fit
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and work in a fast-paced environment
• Decision making capabilities
• Competent in MS Excel.
