Job Description

* Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities for the bank across various segments (e.g., corporate, SME, retail).
* Proactively engage with potential clients to understand their financial needs and propose tailored banking solutions.
* Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with new and existing clients.
* Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and potential growth areas.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including product teams, credit, and operations, to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery.
* Prepare and present compelling business proposals and presentations to prospective clients.
* Negotiate terms and conditions of agreements to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
* Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and revenue objectives.
* Monitor and report on sales activities, pipeline status, and market feedback.
* Represent the bank at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.

Job Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
* Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or relationship management within the banking or financial services industry.
* Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
* Strong understanding of banking products and services (e.g., loans, trade finance, cash management, treasury products).
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients at all levels.
* Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven with a strong entrepreneurial spirit.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken. Proficiency in other languages (e.g., Mandarin) is an added advantage.
