YOUR MISSION

• The role will be mainly responsible for Puma China merchandising work of Running and Training apparel.
• The individual will be responsible for driving the merchandising strategy and execution for Running and training apparel.
• The individual will work closely with cross-functional teams such as global PLM, GTM, commercial, RCC and marketing to develop and execute seasonal product assortments that are aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
• This role requires excellent strategic thinking, including the ability to identify long-term opportunities, risks, and threats for the business, and come up with turn-around (short term and long term) plans to address them.
• The individual should have strong influential capability to effectively communicate vision, strategy and objectives across the organization.
• Has a passion for sports, running and hybrid training (HYROX) preferred.

YOUR TALENT

Business planning

• Develop and execute merchandising strategy for assigned categories to achieve company goals incl. revenue and gross margin etc.
• Identify key initiatives for the assigned categories (incl key growth drivers, resources etc)

Merchandising management

• Oversee category business cycle from range building, forecast, pricing, sample, sell-in and order fulfillment as well as sell-thru monitoring
• Build product range that meets market needs based on consumer insights, trend, competitor’s strategy and sell out performance
• Build strong connection with global PLM & GTM team to influence overall creation and GTM plan to land in the best way for China market
• Identify local creation opportunities and work with RCC team for local creations
• Work closely with commercial team to ensure consumer and channel needs are fulfilled and aligned from a financial perspective
• Collaborate with marketing team to plan holistic GTM journey to drive consumer engagement as well as end sales

 System and process

• Implement efficient process for assigned categories in terms of x-functional communication
• Develop competitor’s intelligence process to elevate x-function team’s awareness on competitor’s product launches and strategy updates.
