About the Role

As a Merchandising Intern, you will play an active role in supporting the growth of our retail business through hands-on merchandising operations and data-driven execution. Working closely with our Merchandising team, you will learn how to analyze consumer behaviors, track market trends, and coordinate across departments—including Buying, Marketing, and Retail Operations—to help turn strategy into reality.

This internship offers direct exposure to the end-to-end merchandising lifecycle across both physical retail and e-commerce platforms.

Main responsibilities:

1. Data & Performance Analysis

• Assist in tracking and analyzing performance indicators to evaluate product performance and identify sell-out opportunities.
• Prepare routine merchandising reports and compile raw sales data into actionable summary formats.

2. Assortment & Product Support

• Support the merchandising team in tracking product launch timelines and stock arrivals.
• Assist with market research and competitor benchmarking to track pricing trends, promotional activities, and product assortments.
• Conduct regular store visits to monitor product presentation and gather customer feedback.

3. Inventory & Replenishment Execution

• Help monitor stock levels across retail channels to identify potential stockouts or overstock situations.
• Support the execution of stock transfers and store replenishment requests to maintain optimal inventory levels.

4. E-Commerce & Digital Merchandising Support

• Conduct regular audits of the e-commerce store to ensure accurate product listings, categorization, and visual presentation.
• Assist in reviewing site navigation and collection tagging to optimize digital customer experience and product discoverability.

5. Visual Merchandising & Marketing Coordination

• Liaise with the Visual Merchandising (VM) and Retail teams to support the execution of display updates and promotional setups.
• Assist in organizing sample products for marketing campaigns, store displays, and photoshoot preparations.

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with cross-functional teams including marketing, retail, and operations to execute merchandising initiatives effectively.
• Support internal stakeholders with ad-hoc operational tasks and cross-departmental projects as needed.

Requirements

You should have/be:

• Passionate About Retail: A strong interest in fashion/retail, consumer preferences, and market dynamics.
• Analytical & Detail-Oriented: A natural curiosity for numbers with the ability to draw meaningful insights from data.

• Strong Communicator: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Merchandising, Fashion Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets (familiarity with formulas like XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc., is a plus).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to interpret data and trends to support merchandising decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to collaborate across teams.
• Flexibility to work extended hours during peak operational seasons or special events if necessary.
• Minimum full-time commitment of 3 months internship
