Job Description Summary:

Medical Director, Podiatry

Are you interested in putting your Podiatry knowledge to work in new and exciting ways? Do you want to expand your professional horizons?  If you are, ModMed is looking for an experienced Podiatrist to join our team. In this role, you will serve as a clinical and product expert for ModMed Podiatry, helping shape our products, strengthen customer relationships, and support the growth of the specialty. This role combines Product, Go-to-Market and Customer Success responsibilities, creating an opportunity to directly influence both what we build and how we deliver value to our customers. Your Role:

• Serve as a Podiatry clinical and product expert, developing deep knowledge of ModMed’s platform and Podiatry workflows

• Gather user feedback and partner with Product teams to validate workflows, concepts, and enhancements

• Support customer retention through proactive outreach, Annual Business Reviews, Evening with EMAs, post-go-live check-ins, and engagement with at-risk and Pooled Podiatry accounts

• Required attendance and lead speaker for our annual user group conference (Momentum and Client Advisory Board meetings)

• Support Sales organization (making introductions, leading demonstrations, attending tradeshows)

• Partner with Marketing to support speaking engagements, webinars, educational content, and market growth.

• Serve as a clinical escalation resource for Customer Success, Support, Implementation, and other customer-facing teams to help resolve escalated clinical, workflow, implementation, support, and product concerns.

• Work with education and CS teams to answer any questions that arise in go-live or client onboarding which includes creation of doctor to doctor videos/training videos.

• Monitor customer communities and social media for product sentiment, emerging concerns, competitive insights, and retention risks

• Reports to the General Manager of Podiatry.​

Skills & Requirements:

• Podiatrists with at least 5+ years clinical experience; with recent experience practicing in a private practice setting.

• Willingness to travel to HQ, tradeshows, customer onsites and conferences.

• Excellent communication, public speaking, and presentation skills.

• Ability to develop deep expertise across the ModMed Podiatry product portfolio.

• Willingness to work hard and collaborate in a team environment.

• Open to use all aspects of the product for testing including PM, Patient Engagement, RCM, AI, Klara - early adopter interest.

• Strong problem solving skills, adaptable, proactive and willing to take ownership.

• Strong commitment to quality and documentation.
