What you will get to do:

Receive/Review Project and Product design requirements from Project Engineering (PE).

Submit concept design to PE for approval and release

Complete detail design and submit to PE for approval and release

Bill of Materials

Sub-Assembly and Detail Drawings

Design calculations

Complete Project/Product Documentation and submit to PE for approval

Demonstrate integrity in all working relationships

Communicate and cooperate with all other departments in the organization

Continually improve personal skills through training

Constantly improve the organization by innovating and implementing new ideas

What will make you successful:

Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)

2 years Machine Design experience

2 years Solidworks experience

Good mechanical aptitude and familiarity with machine design and manufacturing processes

Ability to apply mechanical engineering standards and techniques

Strong communication skills

Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics

Willingness to travel on a limited basis as required

Physical Demands

Regularly required to talk or hear.

Frequently required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Required to view near and distant objects. The employee must have color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
