WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a Material Handler to keep our production line moving. Your mission is simple to say and critical to do: make sure builders never have to leave their stations to find material. You'll run regular replenishment loops through the factory delivering lumber, panels, parts, fasteners, and consumables to the point of use, keep line-side stock bins full, stage and kit material for upcoming modules, and support receiving when trucks arrive.
This is a full-time, hands-on, on-site role at our factory in the greater Boston area, and it's a genuine entry point into factory operations — no prior experience required. If you're reliable, organized, and take pride in keeping things running, we'll teach you the rest, including forklift training and certification.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Run scheduled replenishment loops delivering material, parts, and consumables to workstations before they run out
Keep line-side stock locations and kanban bins full, and flag low stock before it becomes a shortage
Pull, stage, and kit material for upcoming modules according to the production schedule
Support receiving: help unload deliveries, verify counts, and put material away in the right location
Record material moves and issues in our inventory system so on-hand quantities stay accurate
Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move material safely through the factory and yard (we will train and certify you)
Remove packaging and waste from work areas, return empty bins and carts, and keep aisles clear and safe
Flag shortages, damage, or discrepancies to the Warehouse Manager immediately
QUALIFICATIONS
No prior experience required — warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or construction background is a plus
Reliable and punctual; this role runs on a schedule the production line depends on
Physically able to be on your feet most of the day, lift up to 50 lbs, and work indoors and in the outdoor yard year-round
Organized, detail-oriented, and safety-minded
Forklift experience a plus; certification a plus, and we'll train and certify you if needed
Comfortable using scanners and basic inventory software (we'll teach you our system)
