Job Description

This position is ideal for candidates with warehouse, material handling, shipping/receiving, stockroom, or inventory experience.
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler / Inventory Associate to support manufacturing and engineering operations. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for receiving, stocking, organizing, moving, and issuing materials throughout the facility to support production needs. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a warehouse, stockroom, shipping/receiving, inventory, or material handling environment and enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. This position offers the opportunity to work with multiple teams while helping maintain inventory accuracy, support production schedules, and ensure materials are available when needed.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, and process incoming materials, components, and supplies
Label, store, and organize materials in designated stockroom or warehouse locations
Pick, issue, and kit materials to support manufacturing and engineering activities
Transport materials throughout the facility as required
Perform shipping and receiving activities, including documentation and inventory transactions
Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory audits and cycle counts
Prepare materials for shipment and coordinate outbound freight as needed
Ensure materials are properly identified, handled, and stored according to established procedures
Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe stockroom and warehouse environment
Support additional warehouse, inventory, and logistics activities as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse, stockroom, shipping/receiving, inventory, logistics, or material handling environment
Experience receiving, stocking, picking, packing, kitting, or issuing materials
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook and Excel
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a manufacturing environment
Experience using ERP, MRP, or inventory management systems
Inventory counting, cycle count, or inventory reconciliation experience
Forklift certification or previous forklift experience
Experience supporting production, assembly, or engineering operations
