Job Summary

The Material Handler: Is responsible for supplying, organizing and issuing all thermoplastic materials in a timely fashion to the Extrusion dept. This position also performs secondary operations for the dept. as needed.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain and organize 2nd floor raw material storage area
• Prepares raw materials for daily production runs
• Review pending job orders to determine type and quantity of materials needed for pending jobs
• Weigh and measure materials and colorants using scales
• Responsible for issuing all materials used post job completion
• Operate as a team player to assist in meeting department goals
• Operate pneumatic tubing cutter to cut off-line jobs
• Performs secondary cutting and packaging of tubing
• Assist operators when needed in collecting tubing
• Able to measure critical tubing dimensions such as: I.D., O.D. and length
• Responsible for periodic cycle counting of all raw materials
• Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience Requirements

• Entry level position, 1-2 years manufacturing experience preferable
