Job Summary:
FiberFirst is seeking a creative, highly motivated Marketing Specialist in Southlake, TX to produce compelling marketing assets, execute digital campaigns, and support customer acquisition across online and local channels. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for creating high-impact digital advertising graphics, managing and engaging our social media presence, and developing physical marketing collateral such as flyers, brochures, and print ads. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will also assist with local community events and track basic campaign metrics to ensure creative assets effectively drive brand awareness and subscriber growth.

Compensation:
- Base pay range: $50,000-$60,000 annually + discretionary bonus or commission

Duties / Responsibilities:
- Design high-quality digital ad creative, social media graphics, and promotional assets using design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Develop print marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, direct mail pieces, door hangers, and local print advertisements, ensuring consistent brand positioning.
- Manage day-to-day social media accounts by scheduling posts, creating engaging visual content, monitoring community interactions, and responding to comments.
- Support the planning, setup, and execution of local events, sponsorships, and community activations to drive brand visibility and local interest.
- Assist in the rollout of local marketing campaigns and product launches by building cohesive multi-channel collateral across digital, social, and print platforms.
- Coordinate website content updates and local landing page creative to keep promotional offers, imagery, and messaging current and engaging.
- Organize and track inventory for branded merchandise, event signage, and local print collateral to support sales and community outreach teams.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, product, and field outreach, and external vendors to support campaign execution and align assets with company goals.
- Track basic performance metrics for social media posts, digital ads, and local promotional efforts to help evaluate campaign impact and inform future content creation.
Education and / or Experience:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred; High School Diploma required.
- 1-3 years of hands-on marketing, graphic design, or social media experience (Telecommunications experience is a plus)
- A portfolio or work samples demonstrating digital ad design, social media content, and print collateral creation (Canva or Adobe) is preferred.
Required Skills / Abilities:
- Hands-on graphic design experience creating digital and print assets using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X) and basic social content management tools.
- Ability to work occasional evenings, weekends, and select holidays as needed to attend community events and support local marketing activations.
- High energy and a willingness to be hands-on in the field, including event setup, tearing down promotional booths, and engaging with the community.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple creative projects, print production deadlines, and campaign requests simultaneously.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for drafting ad copy, social media messaging, and representing the brand at local events.
- Resilient to change and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving team environment.
- Basic data awareness with the ability to track social media engagement, review digital ad performance, and report on basic campaign metrics.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), CRM systems, and general marketing or project management software.
- Basic photography, videography, or mobile video editing experience (e.g., Reels, TikToks, CapCut) is a plus.
- Experience with or basic understanding of Google Ads or Meta Ad Manager is a plus.

- 80% in an office environment seated at a computer. 20% at events the work environment is fast paced, and the employee may be exposed to varying temperatures and weather conditions. Events could be inside or outside, with extensive time walking and standing to engage with potential customers.
