Job Description

Marketing Specialist within Packaging & Specialty Plastics (P&SP) business is responsible to generate leads to achieve long term plan for their respective Sub-Region. This opening location can be in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi Vietnam OR Jakarta, Indonesia but catering to entire South East Asia region.

Marketing Specialist is supposed to build strong relations across the packaging value chain & look for opportunities to grow high value segments. This important role will work closely with under the guidance of MMT & along with larger commercial organization in this region, to not just achieve plans, but focus on the "how" part of the sustainable growth plans.

Marketing Specialist plays the role of go-to global subject matter experts in at least one critical Marketing enabler, including: Customer Relationship Management, Knowledge Management, primary and secondary research techniques, tools and approaches.

Responsibilities

• Generate leads to achieve long term plan for their respective Sub-Region, build strong relations across the packaging value chain, identify opportunities to grow high value segments, and work closely with MMT and the larger commercial organization in the region to not just achieve plans, but focus on the "how" part of sustainable growth plans
• Conduct customer seminars and events, and create marketing plans and execution strategies
• Play the role of go-to global subject matter experts in at least one critical Marketing enabler, including Customer Relationship Management, Knowledge Management, and primary and secondary research techniques, tools and approaches
• Be accountable and responsible for the wealth of knowledge existing on their designated enabler, prioritize improvements and innovations in their area of responsibilities, and advise and guide clients in the development and deployment of integrated marketing tactics
• Support market intelligence, primary and secondary research activities, data management, insight analysis and development, as well as lead and opportunity management, contact management, event management, sampling, and campaign success

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Deep understanding of client needs, best practices, efficient approaches, methodologies, capabilities and technologies relevant to their scope
• Enough understanding of Dow's capabilities, practices and offering concerning all other technologies and enablers in order to advise and guide clients in the development and deployment of integrated marketing tactics
