Global Commercial, a key sub-function within Care Enablement, plays a vital role in advancing Fresenius Medical Care’s mission to improve the lives of patients with chronic kidney disease. The team brings together Sales, Marketing, Global Sales Excellence, and Global Technical Operations, working collaboratively to deliver high-quality medical devices, technical services, and impactful commercial strategies across global markets.

Goal of function: As Marketing & MAHE Director CE Iberia, you lead the Marketing, Market Access, and Health Economics strategy across Spain and Portugal for the Care Enablement (CE) Business Unit, supporting the Critical Care, In-Center, and Home verticals. You drive market positioning, value communication, customer engagement, and access initiatives to support business growth and strategic objectives. You provide leadership and direction to the function, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy, fostering a high-performing and innovative team, and driving the successful execution of Marketing and MAHE priorities across Iberia.

Your Responsibilities:

• Define and drive the overall Marketing & MAHE strategy for Iberia, aligning business objectives, corporate priorities, and the needs of the Home, In-Center, and Critical Care verticals.
• Lead, develop, and motivate a high-performing team through coaching, talent development, performance management, and transparent communication
• Develop and implement marketing strategies and plans across all CE business verticals in Iberia.
• Oversee product positioning, launches, promotional activities, digital marketing initiatives, and communication alignment
• Support Sales teams through CRM optimization, digital tools, and effective execution of commercial and marketing plans
• Drive cross-functional collaboration and identify synergies across business areas to maximize market impact and business performance
• Develop health economics and value-based healthcare initiatives, including stakeholder and KOL engagement strategies
• Lead sustainability and value-focused projects in collaboration with regional and global MAHE teams
• Monitor performance, market trends, competitive activity, and budget execution, implementing corrective actions when required
• Support and guide Marketing Managers in developing and executing best-in-class strategies and plans
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, legal requirements, and corporate values

Your Profile:

• University degree in Life Sciences, Marketing, or a related field; postgraduate qualifications (MBA, PhD, or equivalent) are an advantage
• Minimum 8 years of experience in the MedTech industry, including leadership experience in Marketing and/or Market Access & Health Economics (MAHE)
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present effectively in international environments
• Strong understanding of the healthcare sector, market access environment, healthcare policies, and commercial dynamics within Iberia
• Proven experience in developing and executing marketing strategies, leading teams, and driving business growth in healthcare or MedTech environments
• Strong leadership, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and engage diverse audiences across cultures and functions
• Strong understanding of tender processes, customer needs, and market dynamics; knowledge of nephrology is a plus
• Proficient with CRM platforms, digital tools, and business systems (e.g., MS Office, SAP), with a good understanding of e-health, digitalization, and data security topics
• Comfortable working within a global organization and willing to travel across the region and internationally as required
