The Marketing & Digital Coordinator supports the Ozarks First Marketing team with station promotions, social media content, traffic logs, and project coordination. This position also provides front-desk and lobby support and serves as a professional and welcoming point of contact for visitors, clients, and station partners.

The ideal candidate is organized, creative, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced broadcast environment. This position requires someone who can manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines, create compelling promotional content, and move easily between digital, administrative, and customer-service responsibilities.

• Primary Responsibilities

  Station Marketing & Social Media

  • Create and publish Facebook and other social media posts promoting Ozarks First programming, contests, promotions, events, community initiatives, and station activities.
  • Write engaging social media copy that follows the Ozarks First brand and promotional strategy.
  • Create and Schedule social media content and ensure posts are accurate, timely, and properly formatted.
  • Assist with promoting station contests, including contest launches, reminders, and supporting content.
  • Help maintain a consistent Ozarks First presence across social media platforms.
  • Assist the Marketing team with promotional campaigns and special projects.
  • Gather and organize information, photos, logos, and other assets needed for station promotions.
  • Assist with website updates and promotional content as needed.

• Traffic & Scheduling Support

  • Assist with traffic log responsibilities, including entering, updating, verifying, and maintaining accurate information.
  • Assist with scheduling and managing promotional spots and other traffic-related needs.
  • Review logs and information for accuracy and identify discrepancies or missing information.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Sales, Programming, and other station departments to ensure promotional information is accurate and up to date.

• Project Management

  • Use Trello as the Marketing team’s work board to organize assignments, track projects, monitor deadlines, and communicate project status.
  • Maintain assigned Trello cards and keeps project information current.
  • Manage multiple assignments and priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • Assist with coordinating marketing materials and information across departments.

• Front Desk & Office Support

  • Greet visitors, clients, guests, and community partners in a professional and welcoming manner.
  • Answer and route incoming telephone calls and take messages as needed.
  • Accept incoming packages and prepare outgoing shipments.
  • Provide general front-office support and maintain a professional lobby environment.
  • Perform basic clerical duties, including filing, copying, scanning, and data entry.
  • Provide additional administrative support to station departments as needed.

• Other Responsibilities

  • Assist with station promotions, community events, contests, and special projects.
  • Support Marketing initiatives across broadcast, digital, social media, and streaming platforms.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

• Requirements & Skills

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; college degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Digital Media, Advertising, or a related field preferred.
  • This position is also well suited for an entry-level college graduate or recent graduate with relevant coursework, internship, campus organization, social media, or project experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong social media skills, particularly Facebook, with an understanding of promotional content and audience engagement.
  • Experience creating social media content.
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly when working with promotional information, contest details, dates, times, and traffic logs.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Comfortable learning and using new technology, software, and digital platforms.
  • Experience with Trello or another project-management platform is a plus.
  • Previous experience in marketing, communications, digital media, broadcasting, or a related field is preferred, but relevant college, internship, or project experience will be considered.
  • Professional, friendly, dependable, and comfortable interacting with the public.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with multiple departments in a fast-paced environment.
