What you will have an opportunity to do:

The Barista prepares coffee, tea, and other beverages while creating a warm and efficient experience for every guest. This role takes orders, answers menu questions, maintains a clean and inviting Marketplace, and works with the team to deliver consistent service during both quiet and busy periods.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and take orders with accuracy and courtesy.
• Prepare espresso drinks, brewed coffee, tea, and other menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
• Help guests choose beverages and food items, including answering ingredient and allergen questions using approved information.
• Operate the point-of-sale system and handle payments accurately.
• Restock ingredients, cups, and supplies; monitor product quality and freshness.
• Clean and maintain beverage equipment, counters, displays, and guest areas.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Communicate order delays, guest needs, and supply concerns to the team.
• Support opening, closing, and shift handoff tasks.
• Resolve routine guest concerns with care and involve a supervisor when needed.

Qualifications

• Previous barista, café, restaurant, or guest service experience preferred.
• Ability to learn beverage recipes and use coffee equipment safely.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to stay organized and welcoming in a fast-paced setting.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to meet applicable food handler requirements.

Physical Requirements
