Title: Market & Brand Analytics Lead
Location: Remote (prefer candidates located in Eastern time zone) (candidates must be located in the United States)

About This Role: 

The Market & Brand Analytics Lead will play an analytics consultant role for Brand and cross-functional teams such as Finance, Sales & Strategy, under the guidance of the Senior Manager, Analytics.

As a Strategic Partner, the lead will focus on diagnosing in-market business performance drivers and delivering deep prescriptive insights that drive actionable business impact. To be successful lead will require a keen understanding of the business impact of varying commercial data sources (Consumption—POS, Panel & Loyalty, Shipments/Retail Inventory, Media, Coupons, Price/Promotion, Brand Health, etc.) and be able to tell a compelling story and influence the organizational with actionable insights.

As business needs arise, the Lead will also be expected to aid data management and governance processes as well as support advanced analytics projects.

What You'll Do:

• Serve as principle day-to-day consultant to Marketing & Corporate team.
• Serve as go-to subject matter expert (SME) on marketplace performance and trends; highlight in-market business performance drivers, and suggest actions to help accelerate gains/course correct declines.
• Perform Deep Dive analyses on topics of interest and prescribe actionable insights that move our business forward.
• Synthesize insights after mining data across a variety of commercial & omni-channel data sources (Consumption—POS, Panel & Loyalty, Shipments/Retail Inventory, Media, Coupons, Price/Promotion, Brand Health, etc).
• Incite action and influence organizational thinking via strong consultative and storytelling abilities.
• Collaborate with other insight functions including consumer, shopper & analytics to build organizational learning as it pertains to insights delivery.
• Identify business opportunities and market/competitive trends using secondary and primary resources and develop a compelling story with a clear “so what” for the organization.
• Prepare and develop strategic insights with strong ability to present data and information in a compelling and logical/story board approach resulting in actionable business insights.

What You Bring:

• BA in Economics, Statistics, Math, Data Analytics or other related quantitative function.
• Master’s or more advanced degree a plus.
• 5+ years of client or supplier-side CPG experience, nutritional supplement experience a plus.
• Knowledge of various commercial data sources such as POS (Circana/NiQ, Spins, Stackline), Panel, Loyalty Card, Media, Price/Promotion, Brand Health, etc.
• Strong academic and/or practical experience in data analytics, data visualization, statistical modeling preferred.
• Experience building and maintaining Category Forecasts a plus.
• Capable of functioning in a dynamic, fluid and time sensitive environment.
• Ability to work in complex and ambiguous work environment (business situation and/or scope).
• Strong interpersonal, written, and presentation skills.
