The Role: 

Our site in Chaska is seeking a Manufacturing Operator to join our team on C10 Shift (6am-4pm, Thu-Sun).  At Entegris we use advanced science to enable technologies that transform the world, and we are seeking employees who have the drive to continue that mission. As a manufacturing operator in the machining department, you are an essential part in helping Entegris be part of the future of Innovation. The machining department produces a variety of high-quality plastic components and parts that our customers use with other components to dispense, transport, and store a range of different chemicals. In this role you will perform tasks such as operating CNC machines inspecting parts and ensuring high-quality standards by following Standard Operating Procedures.  

 What You’ll Do: 

• Operates manual and CNC machines (vertical/horizontal lathes, mills, grinders, 5-axis machines) to produce precision parts in accordance with work order specifications.  

• Safely utilizes cutting tools to perform minor corrective operations on machined products as needed. Collaborate with machinists and machining supervisors to ensure that production schedule is met, and any issues are escalated in a timely manner.  

• Use SAP and other electronic systems to find, record, and generate documentation throughout the production process. Records all output and production data in ERP (Enterprise) systems and maintain compliance with all online training and documentation requirements.    

• Packages finished orders in accordance with specifications, ensuring proper protection and handling.  

• Performs manual and CNC machine preventative maintenance tasks (checking/filling oil, vacuuming, changing filters, etc.) and other housekeeping duties.  

• Ensures product is consistent with established specifications through Camline by utilizing different measuring tools, such as calipers and drop/height indicators.  Escalates quality issues to supervisor or to the quality department as appropriate.  Ensuring the highest possible product quality and adherence to the Entegris quality policy, ISO and/or other standards.  

• Finalizes all required paperwork thoroughly and timely (i.e. Production Reports, Rack Tickets, Labels, Component Sheets, Rework Sheets, SAP Transactions etc.).  Maintains accurate attributes/variable charts of rejected materials.   

• Integrates on all key business processes to influence customer satisfaction, waste elimination, growth, cost effectiveness and product/system quality.  Promotes and implements use of continuous improvement tools to eliminate non-value activities.  Participate actively in continuous improvement activities such as 6s, Kaizen events, etc.   

• Maintains a clean and safe work area. Performs duties in a safe manner and observes approved safety procedures and communicates potential hazards immediately to supervisor.   

• Completes miscellaneous tasks as assigned in support of the larger organization and production goals.

What We Seek: 

• Must be 18 years or older and have the right to work in the US without sponsorship 

• High School diploma or equivalent required 

• At least one (1) year of previous experience working in a manufacturing setting is preferred.   

• Ability to perform basic math calculations.  

• Basic computer and data entry skills.  

• Ability to communicate effectively in English and work in a team setting.      

• High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.  

• Proven ability to execute manufacturing processes within a tight tolerance.   

• Ability to understand documented processes and procedures indicated in engineering blueprints.

• Compensation is $21-$25 hourly range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skill set for the role.
