Job Description
Develop, implements and maintains methods, operation sequence and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies. Interface with design engineering in coordinating the release of new products. Estimates manufacturing cost, determines time standards and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements of all products. Maintain records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations.
You will report to Production Manager based in Singapore.
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide timely resolution of manufacturing process problems to maintain smooth flow of production.
- Improve processes applying lean techniques and engineering principles.
- Identify and implement manufacturing cost reductions and productivity improvements.
- Research, develop and document new and existing manufacturing processes.
- Correctly Load BOM and maintain routine into ERP system
- Layout of new production lines including material flow patterns.
- Support the growth of the facility by ensuring seamless transfer of products from other facilities.
- Ensure seamless implementation of engineering change notices.
- Identify and pursue product design changes to improve manufacturability based on engineering knowledge.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- Minimum Education Requirements are:
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering or related technical degree
- We prefer at least 3 years' Experience in manufacturing engineering or operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office, Microsoft project, Auto CAD software.
- Knowledge of electronic hardware.
- Excellent troubleshooting.
- SQL, Power BI or any AI related experience
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
- You will Help manufacture equipment, supplies, or materials
- Apply continuous improvement techniques to processes involving customers and suppliers
- You will Conduct tasks observing applicable health, safety, quality, and environmental regulations (state/federal laws, ISO9001, ISO14000, etc.) and Rockwell Automation procedures.
- You will Identify opportunities for and lead efforts to re-use engineering about application solutions or technologies across multiple projects.
