Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in business or related field (Healthcare Administration, Engineering, Economics). MBA, MPH, or equivalent experience preferred.

Experience / Knowledge / Skills:

• Three (3) of experience in strategy, consulting, healthcare operations, digital health, or related field (e.g., management consulting, health system strategy, health tech)
• Advanced analytical capabilities with strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; ability to analyze complex datasets and translate into actionable insights
• Experience working on or with digital / health technology solutions (e.g., clinical decision support, workflow tools, analytics platforms, AI-enabled solutions)
• Experience with healthcare investing and asset due diligence a plus
• Demonstrated ability to work with external partners and vendors, including evaluating capabilities, managing deliverables, and driving toward outcomes
• Structured problem solver with ability to break down ambiguous problems into clear workstreams and outputs
• Exceptional communication skills, including development of executive-ready presentations and materials
• Proven ability to independently manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
• Strong interpersonal skills with experience engaging frontline, operational, digital/IT, and executive stakeholders
• High level of initiative, ownership, and learning agility
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality deliverables

Principal Accountabilities

• Lead and execute strategic initiatives across clinical, operational, quality, and digital domains aligned to enterprise priorities
• Analyze clinical, operational, financial, and digital performance data to identify insights, quantify opportunities, and inform recommendations
• Partner cross-functionally with clinical, operational, quality, and digital/IT teams to define requirements, validate insights, and drive alignment
• Evaluate, select, and work with external partners (e.g., vendors, startups, consultants), including supporting build vs. buy decisions, managing engagements, and ensuring delivery against objectives
• Support implementation of digital and operational solutions, including workflow design, pilot execution, performance tracking, and scaling
• Translate strategy into execution, defining KPIs, tracking progress, and ensuring accountability for results
• Identify and advance opportunities to improve care delivery, operational efficiency, quality outcomes, and digital enablement
• Ensures safe care to patients, staff and visitors; adheres to all Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, and standards within budgetary specifications including time management, supply management, productivity and quality of service.
• Promotes individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory/continuing education and skills competency; supports department-based goals which contribute to the success of the organization; serves as preceptor, mentor and resource to less experienced staff.
