Your impact​ 

• You engage proactively with clients, performing in-depth analyses of their cloud technical and financial implementations and translating insights into robust, actionable recommendations for improvement.​ 

• You lead the planning and execution of all relevant FinOps domains and capabilities, tailoring them to each client's business needs – from organisations just starting with FinOps to those running mature practices that require advanced enhancements.​ 

• You identify and realise cost-saving opportunities at scale and design sound cost governance models that help clients control and continuously optimise their cloud spend and avoid unnecessary expenditures.​ 

• You empower customers by recommending and implementing effective automation, tooling, and DevOps best practices that facilitate and accelerate their FinOps adoption at scale.​ 

• You design and deliver comprehensive trainings and workshops to enable and educate stakeholders across IT, finance and the business on FinOps principles and ways of working.​ 

• You lead FinOps engagements end-to-end with ownership of delivery quality, commercial outcomes, and client relationships, advocate FinOps internally and externally in the FinOps community, and continuously update your knowledge of cloud, engineering and consulting best practices to ensure high-quality delivery and a culture of continuous improvement.​ 

• You build, coach, and mentor high-performing FinOps and cloud teams, and actively contribute to business development activities, including proposals, thought leadership, and growing the FinOps practice within PwC Switzerland and across the global network. 
   

Your skillset​ 

• A university degree in fields such as business informatics, computer science, physics, mathematics, or any engineering discipline is preferred.​ 

• You have hands-on experience with at least one major public cloud, preferably Azure, and a deep understand of cloud architectures, services and DevOps concepts.​ Additional experience with AWS and/or Google Cloud is considered a plus. 

• You bring at least 5 years of relevant professional experience, with a proven track record in FinOps, including cost optimisation, budgeting, reporting, and leading FinOps transformations. 

• You hold an advanced cloud certification (e.g. Architect or Engineer) and a FinOps certification (FinOps Certified Practitioner required; FinOps Certified Professional or FOCUS certification a strong plus), with concrete FinOps success stories.​ 

• You have good communication skills to engage confidently with clients, understanding their challenges well, and providing the right recommendations needed. That may include designing and facilitating educational workshops and training in the domain of FinOps.​ 

• Fluency in English and a willingness to travel within Switzerland and occasionally internationally; German language skills are considered a plus.​
