Pramerica Services Company Bermuda, LTD., a wholly owned subsidiary of Prudential Financial Group (“PFI”), a Fortune 500 company, is seeking a skilled and highly motivated individual to fulfill the role of Manager [9P/Finance], Planning & Analysis. The position will be based in Bermuda [RC1.1] and will report to the Bermuda Re Director, Planning & Analysis. This position will co-manage planning and analysis activities related to PFI’s two Bermuda-based affiliates, Gibraltar Reinsurance Company Ltd. (Gibraltar Re) and Lotus Reinsurance Company Ltd. (Lotus Re), with accountability for delivering timely and meaningful financial insights.

The Manager, Planning & Analysis will lead end-to-end planning and analysis and transaction-related deliverables for the Bermuda reinsurance entities, translating quarterly results, forecast drivers, and emerging business issues into clear, concise, and executive-ready insights and recommendations. This includes overseeing key forecasting and reporting activities and partnering across functions to support strategic initiatives, reinsurance transactions, and senior management decision-making.

The position requires strong judgment, the ability to operate independently in a complex and evolving environment, and the ability to influence outcomes across functions and geographies. The role offers broad exposure across Finance disciplines and close partnership with stakeholders across Bermuda, the U.S., and Japan, including Actuarial, Treasury, Global Portfolio Management, and Risk Management.

The current employee work arrangement for this position is hybrid and may require your on-site presence on a reoccurring basis as determined by your business, dependent on the candidate's location. Your manager will provide additional details relative to the specific number of days you are expected to be on-site.

What you can expect:

• Lead end-to-end quarterly and semiannual forecasting for the Bermuda entities, including consolidating and validating inputs, assessing key drivers, and preparing materials for executive management.
• Lead quarterly actuals reporting and analysis, including interpreting sales and settlement activity, developing clear variance commentary, and translating results into business implications and forward-looking considerations.
• Monitor core financial metrics, identify trends and emerging issues, and translate complex financial information into actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
• Partner with senior Finance and business stakeholders to support reinsurance transactions, strategic initiatives, and management priorities through financial analysis, viewpoint development, and post-transaction reporting.
• Develop executive-ready presentations and recommendations for leadership discussions, quarterly business reviews, and regulatory updates.
• Drive process improvements across planning and reporting activities to enhance quality, transparency, and efficiency.
• Serve as a trusted Finance partner across functions and geographies, influencing outcomes through analytical insight, sound judgment, and clear communication.            

What you’ll need:

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA, CFA, or equivalent professional designation; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in financial analysis, forecasting, reporting, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex, end-to-end processes, manage competing priorities, and deliver high-quality work within challenging time frames and with limited oversight.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to connect financial results to underlying business drivers and implications.
• Strong presentation and communication skills, including the ability to translate complex information and tailor messages for senior stakeholders.
• High degree of self-motivation, ownership, attention to detail, and commitment to continuous improvement.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, exercise sound judgment, and develop thoughtful solutions in a complex and evolving environment.
• Flexibility to work additional hours during peak reporting periods, as needed.               

It’d be a plus if you had:

• Strong understanding of the insurance industry, including key earnings drivers and risk management principles.
• Knowledge of the Bermuda regulatory and solvency regime.
• Familiarity with reinsurance transactions, structures, and related accounting considerations.
• Commercial and industry awareness, with the ability to understand how market developments may affect business priorities.
