The Manager of Creative Services, under direction of the Director of Enrollment Marketing and Communications, provides creative direction and design for marketing and communication needs of Texas A&M University-Central Texas. Oversees and designs printing and production of promotional materials for internal and external uses and mediums, including traditional print, electronic, and multimedia.

A Presidential Proclamation issued on September 19, 2025, imposes a $100,000 fee on all new H‑1B petitions filed after September 21, 2025, and Texas A&M University–Central Texas will not pay this fee. Additionally, a moratorium issued by Governor Abbott on January 27, 2026, restricts the filing of new H‑1B petitions unless approved by the Texas Workforce Commission. Accordingly, if you will now or in the future require sponsorship for employment visa status this moratorium may affect our ability to employ you should you be selected as the final candidate. Responsibilities:

• Manages all aspects of assigned projects, including concepts, timelines, budgets, communications, deadlines, and quality control.

• Develops, maintains, and champions the visual identity of the university.

• Prepares and reviews printing specifications, including job costing data.

• Works with vendors.

• Evaluates and recommends equipment purchases.

• Collaborates with marketing team to provide creative direction for marketing campaigns.

• Integrates and aligns print and electronic media to comply with style and branding guidelines.

• Researches and analyzes industry trends and maintains knowledge of emerging technologies and creative techniques.

• Supervises creative staff including graphic design, photography, and multimedia production.

• Develops goals and strategies for creative content creation.

• Provides graphic design for support ticket requests as needed.

• Provides multimedia and photography support as needed.

• Works with social media team to ensure visual identity is consistent across platforms.

• Oversees use of the university’s digital signage platform.

• Supervises staff responsible for technology support of events.

• Assists with event technology support when needed.

• Reviews and approves branding and licensing requests.

• Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
• Knowledge of print processing equipment.
• Knowledge of graphic design.
• Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in applicable field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five years of related experience in graphic design, web development, print and electronic media, marketing, or related field.

Salary: $61,012.00

Hours: Monday - Friday; 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Nights and weekends as needed.

Supervision of Others: This position does supervise employees.

Work Location: This is not a remote position. The selected candidate will be required to work on campus.
