Test Manager – HW & SW Test Operations, APAC
Key Responsibilities
Test Program Leadership
- Own and expand test programs across SW and HW in the APAC region — protocol development, execution standards, and continuous improvement across product categories.
- Establish KPIs and reporting to monitor test coverage, defect detection, and execution quality across APAC sites.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with R&D, Program Management, Regulatory, and Customer Experience teams to embed quality requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
- Influence senior stakeholders to align on quality priorities, trade-offs, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Act as a key quality voice in product development, change management, and escalation forums.
Test Protocol Development & Execution
- Define and maintain HW and SW test protocols from component validation through system integration across APAC product development and manufacturing sites.
- Drive root cause analysis for failures and systemic improvements to prevent recurrence.
SW & HW Integration Testing
- Lead test operations at the intersection of firmware, embedded software, and hardware across APAC engineering teams.
- Define test requirements, improvement areas, and strategy to improve throughput and repeatability regionally.
People & Capability Development
- Build and develop a regional test engineering team across APAC.
- Establish standardized methodologies and best practices that connect APAC test operations to global standards.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's in Engineering or Computer Science; 7+ years in test engineering or product validation within consumer electronics or hardware.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional HW and SW test programs
Preferred
- Master's in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Experience with embedded systems, firmware validation, or connected products.
- Familiarity with TestRail, Jira, HIL/SIL frameworks and DQTP
- Prior experience operating in a regional or multi-site engineering environment.

Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary range for this position is displayed below. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
