Overview  

 The Manager, Digital Analytics & Insights is responsible for transforming digital and customer data into actionable insights that improve website performance, customer experiences, marketing effectiveness, and business results. This role will lead analytics for the 2nd largest website in the Houston market with millions of webpages and high demand traffic flow in a digital ecosystem. This role will serve as the analytics leader within the Digital Marketing organization. This role uses data to identify opportunities, uncover customer pain points, evaluate marketing performance, and recommend improvements across the digital customer journey. This role goes beyond reporting to proactively identify trends, opportunities, and barriers that impact how customers discover, navigate, and engage with a large-scale digital ecosystem. The Manager will analyze website behavior, digital marketing channels, search trends, customer journeys, and conversion performance to develop recommendations that increase qualified traffic, engagement, and lead generation. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, naturally curious, and comfortable translating complex data into clear business recommendations. This individual will partner closely with Marketing, Product, UX, Engineering, SEO, Paid Media, and other cross-functional teams to measure performance, evaluate initiatives, prioritize opportunities, and foster a culture of continuous testing and optimization. This is a hybrid role located in Houston, Texas. All qualified candidates must live in the Houston area and work on site several days and can be remote others. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship or visa transfers. Please note that we do not work C2C.

Responsibilities

·       Analyze website, customer, and digital marketing data to identify trends, opportunities, and barriers that impact traffic, engagement, conversion, and lead generation.

·       Translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations that inform business strategy, marketing investments, website experiences, and customer acquisition.

·       Own the digital measurement strategy, including GA4, KPI frameworks, dashboards, reporting, data quality, and measurement governance.

·       Analyze performance across SEO, Paid Search, Email, Social, Google Business Profile, Referral, Direct, and emerging AI-driven traffic sources.

·       Evaluate customer journeys, attribution, conversion funnels, and digital experiences to identify friction and opportunities for improvement.

·       Monitor search trends, SEO performance, and emerging AI-powered search behavior that may impact digital visibility and customer acquisition.

·       Partner with Product, UX, Engineering, Marketing, SEO, and Paid Media teams to measure initiatives, experiments, and improvements.

·       Own and prioritize the digital analytics backlog and foster a culture of data-driven decision-making, testing, and continuous optimization.

·       Deliver executive-level reporting and recommendations and conduct ad hoc analyses to support strategic and business decisions.

Requirements

·       Minimum of 5-7 years experience in digital analytics, digital marketing analytics, web analytics, customer insights, or a related field.

·       Strong experience with Google Analytics 4, digital measurement, Power Bi or Tableau dashboards, KPI reporting, and data analysis.

·       Understanding of digital marketing channels, customer journeys, attribution, conversion funnels, and website performance.

·       Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable business recommendations and communicate findings to technical and executive audiences.

·       Experience partnering cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, UX, Engineering, SEO, and other business teams.

·       Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.

·       Experience with experimentation, A/B testing, data visualization, SEO analytics, or emerging AI search trends preferred.

·       Ability to work independently, identify opportunities proactively, and drive initiatives from analysis through recommendation and implementation.

Education

·       Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Marketing, Business, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Compensation

Sand Cherry Associates is required (by Colorado law) to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range considers a wide range of factors considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and delivery model. This is a contract to hire hybrid role that will begin on 1099 contract at the targeted range of $80-95/hour. If hired, this role will provide an annual salary and benefits. Years of experience, level of education, geographic location, unique skills/qualifications for the specific role and potential certifications can be key factors in the final compensation for this role.
