Mandatory Reference Checking Scheme (“MRC”) for Hong Kong

The Mandatory Reference Checking Scheme is a framework to facilitate Authorized Institutions (“AIs”) to bilaterally obtain reference information during their recruitment process for certain positions, such that misconduct information in an individual’s previous employments can be provided to AIs to inform their employment decisions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Solicit mortgage business opportunities to achieve individual targets.
• Expand & maintain good business network.
• Cross-sell other banking products to mortgage customers.
• Assist Team Head in motivating team members to achieve sales targets.
• Assist and support Team Head to enforce sales discipline according to house rules.
• Generate sales / management reports and keep abreast of current market information.
• Comply with anti-money laundering and counter terrorist financing controls in accordance with regulatory standards and CNCBI policies.
•Establishes oneself as a trusted advisor by participating in customer’s decision-making process, as appropriate.

Requirements:

• Secondary education or above.
• Minimum of 4 years of sales & service experience in mortgage gained from retail banking.
• Preferably possess qualifications for relevant insurance licenses registration.
• Thorough knowledge of mortgage products and general banking products, services and related credit policies.
• Smart market sense with innovative ideas to solicit new business opportunities
