Here at Beyond, as a Management Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in driving our financial visibility. Reporting to the Head of Finance Operations, you will take ownership of the day-to-day management accounts and variance analysis across our global entities. This is a hands-on position offering real ownership, visibility, and the opportunity to shape processes within a growing organisation.
Role Responsibilities
- Produce timely, accurate monthly management accounts across multiple entities and currencies.
- Responsible for recognising revenue on professional services projects across all group entities, in line with accounting policies .
- Partnering with FP&A to ensure revenue, variance analysis and management accounts are accurate.
- Own key balance sheet reconciliations and ensure robust controls.
- Calculating and posting journals, including prepayments, accruals, accrued income and deferred income.
- Preparing commission calculations for the sales team.
- Supporting the year end audit, resolving queries with accompanying evidence.
- Oversee the invoicing of professional services.
- Continuously improve the month-end process to shorten the close.
- Providing support with systems improvements.
- Supporting ad-hoc finance projects as required.
- Providing technical oversight and support to the Assistant Management Accountant.

Requirements
Essential Experience:
- Previous experience working within a Management Accountant position
- Strong understanding of accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations
- Ability to demonstrate strong analytical skills
- Attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the business
Desirable Experience:.
- Part Qualified/ Qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent)
- Industry Experience: Background in professional services, IT consultancy environment where tracking billable hours and project profitability is key.
- Multi-Currency / Multi-Entity: Familiarity with global entity management (UK, US, Europe, Asia) and FX revaluations.
- PE Familiarity: Prior experience working within a Private Equity-backed business is a strong advantage.
