Essential Job Responsibilities

• Maintaining industrial manufacturing equipment

• Understands the current status of all production machines on the floor

• Works closely with shift supervisor to maintain machines in safe, efficient and quality process

• Before departing, shift Maintenance Tech will enter appropriate information in the maintenance Log, or other appropriate designated place

• Experience with troubleshooting pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems

• Responsible for maintaining and adhering to established Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMP) and Safety Quality Foods (SQF) compliance requirements.

• Respond to any emergency or potential emergency.

• Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels.

• Suggest actions for continual improvement to products, processes or systems and very the implementation of solutions.

Qualifications:

• Experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment preferred

• Experience with troubleshooting pneumatic systems

• Working knowledge of Lock Out/Tag Out requirements

• Mechanical aptitude

• High School or Equivalent Education

• Plastic molding experience preferred but not required

Salary Expectations: $34-$39/hr
