The Maintenance Technician needs to be a dependable self-starter with a desire to grow and succeed. Constructs, maintains, and tests mechanical equipment, machinery, and components. Identifies parts for replacement and machines that need new parts and places orders as necessary. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. Our Myerstown Plant opened in 2000 and we manufacture residential asphalt shingles. Compensation: This position will pay between $34.01/hour and $37.36/hour depending on experience. Essential Duties Good skills in multi-craft operation with some limited cross-functional skills. Capable of repairing/troubleshooting a wide range of mechanical equipment without supervision. Capable of general motor control and instrumentation installations, conduit and panel installation and repair. Moderately skilled in overall electrical equipment troubleshooting. Familiar with all test equipment and common devices both mechanical and electrical. Work safely and assume responsibility for safety of self and others. Follow all safety rules and policies. Maintain excellent Housekeeping. Attend and contribute to team meetings and training. Communicate responsibly. Strive for continuous improvement in areas of safety, quality and productivity. Base salary and/or rate of pay ranges listed are exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses. Individual compensation offers will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, relevant candidate experience and skill, education, and/or qualifications.

Base Hourly Rate: $37.16
