What You’ll Do

As a Maintenance Technician you’ll be part of our team located in Elyria, OH. You’ll get to: 

• Must be able to assemble, disassemble, repair, rebuild, or overhaul any machine in shop.
• Rebuild, repair or install any parts in machine components.
• Diagnose and remedy minor electrical trouble.
• Perform a variety of bench and machining operations on various parts.
• Hold close tolerance.
• Operates lathes, grinders, milling machines and all machine shop equipment.
• Transport hazardous material within company property.
• Adhere to preventive maintenance schedule.
• Maintain high level of quality on work performed.
• May be required to perform simple carpentry and painting work.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior assembly experience preferred.
• Prior experience with hand tools and power tools preferred
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment requiring the employee to stand and walk for majority of an 8 to 10-hour day.
• Bend, lift product, equipment and tools up to 50 pounds throughout the day.
• Push or pull product up to 200 pounds.
• Use hand tools up to 20 pounds over extended periods of time
