Collinsville Open Cut is Queensland’s oldest existing coal mine, with a long history of producing quality metallurgical and thermal coal for export markets. Located approximately 160 km from Airlie Beach in North Queensland, the operation combines the experience of an established mine with a workforce focused on getting the job done safely and effectively. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, we are seeking multiple experienced and competent fitters and auto-electricians to join our dynamic team.

About You:

• Relevant trade qualifications – Plant Mechanic / Diesel Fitters and Heavy Mobile Equipment Auto Electricians.
• Knowledge and experience on Caterpillar and Komatsu large mining machinery.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of and commitment to risk management and safe work practices.
• Ability to liaise with key internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
