The Machine Operator II will set up, operate, and maintain production machinery to manufacture high-quality products according to specifications and production schedules. This role requires a strong understanding of machine operation, troubleshooting, and adherence to safety and quality standards within a manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities**

* Operate and monitor various production machines, including setup, adjustments, and minor repairs, ensuring optimal performance and product quality.
* Perform routine preventative maintenance on assigned equipment to minimize downtime and extend machine life.
* Monitor production processes, identify potential issues, and troubleshoot machine malfunctions or product defects promptly.
* Load and unload materials and components into machines, ensuring correct placement and orientation.
* Conduct in-process quality checks, inspect finished products for defects, and ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
* Maintain accurate production records, including downtime, output, and quality data.
* Adhere to all safety protocols, company policies, and good manufacturing practices (GMP).
* Collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to achieve production goals.
* Identify and suggest improvements to machine operation, safety, or quality processes.
* Assist with training new operators on machine operation and safety procedures as needed.

Job Qualifications**

* High School Diploma or GED required. Technical certification or vocational training in a relevant field is a plus.
* 4+ years of experience operating production machinery in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
* Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
* Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
* Basic computer proficiency for data entry and machine interface operation.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks.
* Must be able to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime, as required.
