About the Role

McKesson is seeking a M365 Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise collaboration technologies that enable secure, reliable, and scalable digital workplace experiences. This role will serve as a technical expert for Microsoft 365 platforms, including Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, Teams Rooms, and Entra ID. Working closely with infrastructure, security, and business stakeholders, you will drive automation, operational excellence, and collaboration platform innovation while ensuring compliance with enterprise security standards.

What You'll Do

● Administer and optimize Microsoft 365 services including Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, and OneDrive, Microsoft 365 Groups, and Copilot.  

● Design, deploy, and support Microsoft Teams Rooms and integrated meeting room technologies.

● Manage identity and access solutions using Entra ID (Azure Active Directory), Conditional Access, and authentication policies.

● Develop and maintain automation solutions using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API to improve operational efficiency.

● Implement and support collaboration security, governance, compliance, and data protection controls across Microsoft 365 services.

● Partner with infrastructure, security, and business teams to deliver scalable collaboration solutions aligned with business requirements.

● Troubleshoot complex platform issues and lead root-cause analysis to improve service reliability and performance.

● Evaluate emerging Microsoft technologies and recommend improvements that enhance the employee experience and platform capabilities.

Basic Requirements

● 5+ years of professional experience supporting, administering, or engineering Microsoft 365 platforms in an enterprise environment.

● Hands-on administration experience with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, and Exchange Online.

● Experience managing identity and access solutions using Entra ID (Azure AD).

● Proficiency with PowerShell scripting for automation and operational support.

● Experience using Microsoft Graph API or similar automation frameworks.

● Knowledge of Microsoft 365 security, compliance, governance, and access management practices.

● Strong troubleshooting, systems integration, and technical documentation skills.

● Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Skills/Experience

● Experience designing and supporting Microsoft Teams Rooms environments.

● Experience with Teams Voice, Direct Routing, or meeting platform integrations.

● Familiarity with Microsoft Intune and endpoint management solutions.

● Experience implementing Conditional Access, Zero Trust, and Identity Governance controls.

● Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, networking, and hybrid enterprise environments.

● Experience supporting healthcare, pharmacy, or other regulated industries.

● Microsoft certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert, Teams Administrator Associate, or Identity and Access Administrator Associate.

● Experience leading platform modernization, migration, or adoption initiatives.

● Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator Expert or related certifications.

● Experience with Microsoft Copilot, Viva, Microsoft Graph, and Power Platform.

● Knowledge of Microsoft Purview, DLP, information protection, retention, and eDiscovery.

Travel / Work Environment / Physical Requirements

● Minimal travel may be required based on business needs.

● Ability to participate in virtual and onsite meetings and support collaboration technologies.

● Work is primarily performed in a standard office or remote work environment.

● Ability to remain stationary and use standard computer equipment for extended periods.
