Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic M&A Partner to lead and execute Mergers & Acquisitions initiatives for BP International Limited. This role will drive significant organizational change, foster cultural integration, and contribute to long-term strategic growth.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead all phases of M&A transactions, from identification and evaluation to negotiation, integration, and post-merger optimization.
• Apply Agility core practices to M&A processes, ensuring efficient and adaptable execution.
• Conduct comprehensive analytical thinking and due diligence to assess potential targets and identify risks and opportunities.
• Develop and implement strategies for culture and behavior change within acquired entities and across the integrated organization.
• Champion customer-centric thinking throughout M&A activities, ensuring value preservation and enhancement for our customer base.
• Drive employee engagement initiatives during and after M&A, addressing workforce concerns and fostering a positive and productive environment.
• Facilitate complex discussions and negotiations with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership, legal teams, and target company representatives.
• Influence key decision-makers and stakeholders to secure buy-in and alignment on M&A strategies and integration plans.
• Utilize Leadership Assessment methodologies to evaluate leadership capabilities within target companies and plan for effective integration.
• Proactively lead change associated with M&A, developing communication plans and support structures for affected employees.
• Effectively manage workforce concerns arising from M&A activities, ensuring fair and transparent processes.
• Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models and analyses using Microsoft Excel to support M&A valuations and projections.
• Contribute to organizational development through strategic M&A, enhancing capabilities and market position.
• Leverage deep Organizational Knowledge and the energy sector to identify synergistic opportunities.
• Actively participate in shaping strategy for future growth and market expansion through M&A.

Job Qualifications:

• Demonstrable expertise in Agility core practices within a corporate environment.
• Exceptional Analytical Thinking skills, with a proven ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
• Outstanding Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
• Significant experience in leading Culture and behavior change initiatives.
• A strong commitment to Customer centric thinking in all strategic endeavors.
• Proven track record in driving Employee Engagement during periods of organizational change.
• Highly skilled in Facilitation, capable of leading productive discussions and workshops.
• Expertise in Influencing and negotiating at senior levels.
• Experience with Leadership Assessment methodologies and their application.
• Extensive experience in Managing change within large, complex organizations.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage workforce concerns during periods of transition.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial modeling and data analysis.
• Strong background in Organizational development principles and their application.
• Deep Organizational Knowledge of the energy industry or a related sector.
• Proven ability to contribute to and lead efforts in Shaping strategy for business growth.

Please note that this role will move to brand-new offices in Timber Square, Southwark around Q4 2027.

Future Location Notice:  This role will start in Sunbury, London. bp has announced a planned office move to Timber Square, London, with all positions currently advertised in Sunbury, including this one, expected to relocate around Q4 2027-Q1 2028.
