Job Description:
THE POSITION
As a member of our M&A team, you will support our acquisition activities by sourcing acquisitions of vertical-market-software companies by:
- Creatively identifying vertical market software businesses meeting our strategic criteria and specific metrics
- Driving engagement and building relationships with owners, shareholders, and management of vertical market software companies and position Volaris group as a buy-and-hold forever investor
- Finding creative ways to get in contact with decision makers
- Assisting members of the M&A team with all aspects of the established, proven process
- Maintaining, building and prioritizing a proprietary database of industry contacts
- Supporting prospecting campaigns through email, outbound calling and in-person meetings
- Gathering, analyzing and presenting target company information and accurately reporting
It is expected that you will have an opportunity to add value through the entire M&A cycle, working with a high-energy M&A team and senior leaders within our organization. You will become a member of a team supporting several businesses in our portfolio and you will receive extensive training on our process and our tools including Salesforce, Marketo, LinkedIn Navigator and other systems that we use day to day in our business.

You are driven to perform, are results-oriented, and have an attention for detail . You have excellent social skills, a warm phone manner, and are an enthusiastic energetic self-starter. You are comfortable speaking with business owners and C-Suite executives. You are extremely organized and do not let details slip through the cracks. You are a collaborative individual, who can work easily with a team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate Business, Finance, Marketing, Economics or other relevant degree program.
